Foot Pedal Waste Basket for the Bathroom, Lid Stays Closed

Every other thing in a bathroom can be put away in a cupboard. The bin is the one object that has to stand there in the open, in whatever colour you bought it in.

What Are the Key Features of This Foot Pedal Waste Basket?

• Stocked in beige and in white: the two ends of a bathroom palette, so the bin can disappear into the room instead of interrupting it.
• Opens with a foot pedal: nothing on the lid gets touched by a wet or soapy hand, which is the point of a bin that lives at a basin.
• The lid stays down between uses: because the pedal is what opens it, the bin is closed by default.
• Floor standing: for a bathroom, a guest cloakroom, a bedside or the footwell under a desk.
• Beige for a warm room, white for a cool one: beige sits with cream tile and wood-effect units, white sits with grey or dark tiling and white sanitary ware.

Where Can You Put This Foot Pedal Waste Basket?

• Beside a bathroom basin
• In a guest cloakroom
• Next to a bedside table
• In the footwell under a desk, where a pedal is easier to reach than a lid

Why Choose a Foot Pedal Bin Instead of a Lift-Lid One?

• White beside white sanitary ware: against grey or dark tiling it reads as part of the fittings.
• The pedal keeps it shut by default: at a basin your hands are wet or soapy, and a lid you have to lift is a lid you leave open.
